The Colours of the Highlands

The highlands of Scotland are so stunning. High above the clouds the landscape is breathtaking but look further and you will see the complex colours that inspire tweeds.

On a recent visit it struck me how literally this can be interpreted.

From the pale vivid turquoise of the rock lichen to the dark rich red browns of the mosses.

Never boring and echoing many natural tones Harris is a wonderful fabric.
